After a one-month installation period, the Heidelberg XL106-10 colour press was taken into service at the beginning of November.

This machine, with an output of 18,000 sheets per hour and a makeready time of 10 minutes per matrix, is the most productive machine Heidelberg has ever made.

This machine joins the existing machinery, which takes the number of presses to 68.

The quality measurement is performed by an inpress-control which leads to perfectly constant colour reproduction. Moreover, the print quality is adjusted every 40 sheets which leads to perfectly constant colour reproduction.
