Graphius invests in ergonomics
Graphius has already invested a lot in ergonomics in recent years by installing pallet elevators, strippers and robotic transport systems. However, there was one department where, until recently, heavy packages of paper still had to be placed manually from the pallet onto the machine and this was the cutting department. In this department, both at PPO and at Graphius Gent, a machine was installed in August that took this manual work away from the operator. Without any manual movement of heavy packages of paper, the operator can continue his cutting work in an optimal way with the help of the robotization.
