NEW - Graphius Magazine

Overview 08 July 2021

The time has come, the 11th edition of our Graphius Magazine rolled off the presses. It is with pride that we lift a corner of the veil.

Our editors spoke with some cultural heavyweights. Manfred Sellink, brand new director of the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent, talks about the high demands of an exhibition catalog. Bernard Steyaert, CEO of the Mercatorfonds, talks about their latest book on the dazzling choreography 'Drumming' by the iconic Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Carmen Willems, director of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp, is eager to throw open the doors of the Antwerp art temple, after 10 years of renovation.

The creative silver lining also found motivational speaker Bob Delbecque. He explains "Make a new deal. Barbara Duriau made a virtue of necessity for the eye. Her Facebook page 'View from my window' became a haven for fellow sufferers of the global lockdown over the past year. The Facebook pages became "pages," as Barbara compiled the images into a unique book.

We also let our creativity run wild at Graphius. We started the expansion of the buildings in Ghent, in Beersel we invested in a die-cutting machine for processing labels and at the end of May the acquisition of printing company Lowyck was completed, which means a great reinforcement for Etiglia Packaging.
